Schools for Children hosted the Different Choices 2021 Fair from October 26-30 – with a second round of the free 100% virtual college and career fair planned for late spring 2022. The fall activities kicked off what we hope will be an annual event providing college and career transition guidance for students with IEPS, 504s and mental health challenges.
Different Choices is an expansion of the fall-winter 2020-21 Transition Conversations series, Taking the Next Step, which offered information and access to resources for students with learning disabilities and related challenges. Different Choices is an evolution of our work to support students, families and their support systems, offering hands-on workshops, presentations, panels specifically for parents/caregivers, on-demand programs and much more.
