One of the best parts of working in a school is the conversations we get to have with students of all ages. Sometimes we are part of the conversation and sometimes we overhear a conversation ... like this one before the break in a first and second grade reading group:
Beverly M. Beno of Lowell, Mass., has been hired as the chief financial officer at Schools for Children. As CFO, Ms. Beno will manage the accounting, finance, audit, financial reporting, human resources, investment and budgeting functions for the nonprofit.

Dr. Paul Stein is the executive director of Schools for Children, Inc., succeeding Dr. Ted Wilson, who served as Schools for Children’s president and executive director for 30 years.
