Schools for Children welcomes inquiries from students and career changers interested in internships (graduate, undergraduate, and high-school students). We offer both paid and unpaid internships. We value the energy and passion interns bring to our organization, and we strive to make your time with us both valuable and educational. Academic credit can often be arranged through our relationships with area colleges and universities.
Internship opportunities include the following:
- For graduate students in business: nonprofit marketing and management, school administration, marketing and communications
- For graduate students in education, human development, social work or psychology: educational research, teaching, counseling and curriculum development.
- For college students: office experiences in PR, marketing, social media, development, educational research and/or special projects and introductions to teaching and/or counseling.
- For high-school students: classroom-based teacher’s assistant, library assistant, office intern, and special projects.
Interested interns, please email us a query letter and resume to firstname.lastname@example.org telling us what about our organization interests you, any special skills or work experience you have and the dates of your proposed internship.
We strongly prefer that you do not send any paper.
